Modern on the Sixteen

Standing atop the embankment of Oakville’s Sixteen Mile Creek in the Heritage District, was an existing cottage which our clients sought to transform. Taking advantage of the grand views between the treelined embankment towards the water below, where they could take off from the dock in their kayaks, we created a modern gem. A three storey glass window floods the space with natural light, creating precisely the view our clients love. Their loft bedroom overlooked the main floor, and out to the picturesque landscape. The open main floor created space for casual living, while the walk out basement included a guest bedroom and work space, along with a spa bathroom - convenient for post workout on the Sixteen.
